International Clan MacFarlane Society | Easily Transportable Event Promotion | 2017
The Clan MacFarlane Society, Inc. is an educational, secular, non-profit society formed to promote the perpetuation of Gaelic-Scottish culture, customs, and traditions.
ICMS needed a new way to attract patrons to their Highland Games clan tents for education and recruitment. Scottish festivals are held outside and sometimes in inclement weather. Clan MacFarlane needed a light but durable and easy to transport promotional solution for sales and distribution to Clan commissioners world-wide. Operating as a non-profit, ICMS employs their commissioners on a volunteer basis. Therefore it was also very important to keep the unit price at an affordable price-point.
I created twin retractable banner sets designed to stand on each side of the tent. Modeled after museum-style displays, each banner contains organizational assets as well as history and interesting facts about the Clan MacFarlane. I was able to work closely with the ICMS officers to create an attractive yet educational promotional piece.
