Knights Templar Oakland Commandery #11 | Recreate Public Domain Art, Banner Production | 2018

The Oakland Commandery #11 is a branch of the Masonic Order of the Knights Templar.  Known for their outstanding contributions to family & community.

What the client needed.

The Templar group needed a parade banner but had no printable art.  As Templar imagery is unaccredited and without copyright, we were able to recreate the images for for the groups printing and promotional materials.  The client sent us a rough layout and some crude examples of what they wanted.

What I did.

I re-created two separate vector based, scalable pieces  of art taken from low resolution public examples provided by the client.  I then created the banner layout as per the clients instructions, keeping the design very simple.
